Using the strategy of a green building, (both metaphorically and literally), as fragment of a greater
green PRATT campus, our building creates sunken gardens along the street-line and to rear-yard.
theses sunken gardens add privacy for lower level housing units as well as allow for a freer massing of
the upper levels. An on-grade garden court and a terrace over the rear-yard parking combine with
sunken garden to create a continuous three level folded landscape between the building and the future
phase two building. roof top gardens on top of both structures creates one continuous landscape looking
back towards the green of PRATT's main campus.
